Greetings to the brothers, sisters and your respective churches.
We would like to thank our Lord and your prayers as we feel the hands of
the Highest has been helping us, for the ministry is His and he has
strengthened the ministry here in Campinas.
From April 21 to 28, we had the visit of Rev. Johnny Chan when we had a
blessed week. On April 22 we had a baptism in a countryside place when we
also had a service and we invited the brothers and sisters from the church
in São José dos Campos. We had a good fellowship and sharing. During
service we separated in three groups: the adults who spoke Chinese and
Cantonese and the young adults and kids who spoke who spoke Portuguese. We
had a total of about 120 people. From April 23 to 27 we made some visits and at night we had studies with leaders.
On April 29, me and another brother took Rev. Johnny Chan to São Paulo where he stayed for a week to help the C&MA São
Paulo ministry and the Servo de Cristo South American Seminary, where he taught a subject. I believe he also had a blessed time there.
During the month of June we will be receiving two reverends, who will be speaking to us and sharing about their respective
ministrys. On June 3 we will receive Rev. Cheng Kwo King, Director of the Chinese magazine that we receive (South America Evangelism & Communications, Luca Evangelical Mission). The other is Rev. Joseph
Sze who is of mission Go International. He will be going to the United Arab Emirates capital Dubai, where 150,000
Chinese live and which is a Muslim country and very restrictive to the Gospel.
Prayer requests:
For our ministry, for the members to always be in condition for the Lord´s work.
For the two activities that we will have in our church. May there be growth and a broader vision of the ministry of the Lord.
-For our preparation of July´s VBS, when a group from New Jersey (Chinese Christian Church in Somerset will be coming to help us out. I will share the details in my next newsletter.
May God bless you and your respective churches.
Immanuel,
Koon Yan Sang
