the Sunday school. We were not schedule to do
anything other than the worship, but Limin was
prepared.
We went to Pastor Changs church in the
afternoon. Brother Zhang preached again.
Christina and I taught Sunday school. Mostly
are the teenagers from Sat. afternoon.
Christina taught the class and one boy, age 14
from China, (only 4 month ago), accepted the
Lord.
Tomorrow, we will do some visiting.
Pastor Chang and his wife, along with other 4
brothers and sisters from his church are going
to Iquitos Monday morning 3:00am.
We are all physically exhausted. We will rest
after we have the evaluation time.

This
is last Sunday in Lima CAC, with their senior pastor
Huang and wife. |

Today 5/19 is
relatively light. We had morning devotion and
did some preparations for the day. And at
around 2pm, 2 local brothers picked us up and
went to another brother's restaurant. We also
met a sister there. Since we have 3 local
believers to guide us, we split our team into 3
groups. We had visited 23 restaurants in Los
Olivos. Some of them we got chances to share
our faith and some just simply denied.
We got back to hotel around 10:15pm and had an
evaluation of the day.

Today is Tuesday 5/20.
We went to San Baoja today to lead the 9am worship. About 10
people attend the service.
After the worship, David Cheung and Christina stayed in the
church to talk to a man who has a marriage problem. David and
Christina went over the faith with him and he accepted the
Lord.
Peter, Limin and Stephanie went to visit a family. They used to
go to church regularly but now has not been to church for
awhile. The husband had a few years ago and now can't
talk and can't walk very well. He was at the hospital receiving
treatment when we went. By the time when we ready to leave, the
husband came back. Limin prayed for him. The husband was very
emotional and cried. We encourage them to start to go to church
and pray to the Lord.
We were scheduled to do more visitations today. But the time
was running late, so we had to go back to hotel to take a rest,
and do some preparation for mid-night. Therefore, this will be
the report for today. Will report back to church tomorrow.

Today is May 21. We arrived
Los Olivos gathering place about half hour early for setting
things up for our play, The Gate of Heaven. And then we had some
fellowship time with local
Chinese people, some of them are believers, most of them are
not. Some of them arrived very late. We started our program at
almost 1:00 am. Our program ran pretty smoothly as we were well
prepared. The local people were all attracted into our program.
They sang together with us during praise time and special music
time although the songs were new to them. They were also touched
by our good testimonies. Additionally, we played the slides sent
to us by our Pastor Wang about the ShiChuan earthquake. There
were donations from the locals toward the C&MA earthquake fund.
At the end of our program, Christina called people to stand up
who believes in Jesus. To our surprise, most people stood up as
we were told that most of them were non believers. PTL!
This afternoon, we canceled our half day sight seeing and went
visiting more people in San Borja District. We visited 6
targeted places. We got back to our hotel around 11:30pm.
Please pray for our safety for tomorrow's activity because we
will go to the place that has security problems.
It's time for us to get rest again. We may skip reporting
tomorrow until noon time on Friday.

May 23, Friday.
We held a gospel gathering event in San Juan District from
12:00am to 3:00am this morning. We came back to our hotel around
3:30am safely. Thanks for prayers of our brothers and sisters
back home. We really appreciate their support. And we experience
God's presence with us. There were about 25 people attended the
event. Most of them were from Fu Jian Province. And most of them
are involved in restaurant related work. As we planned, we had
praise time, testimony, special music, a play (Gate of Heaven),
and a slide show about Si Chuan earthquake. Brother Zhang Wei
made the calling. There were about 5-6 people raised their
hands. One special thing is that there is a lady who coordinated
the local Chinese people to attend the event. But she is
non-believer. Pastor Zhang has been spending a lot of time on
her in past 3 years. She never raised her hand. This time, she
raised her hand. PTL!
we spent some time having fellowship with the local Chinese
people. They all miss home. And they were happy to see mission
teams. We believe that God has opened the door for them for
their salvation, that they opportunities to be exposed to this
kind of Gospel event. May they indeed receive God's mercy and
salvation.

Lima 5/24 STM
Dear Brothers and Sisters,.
Yesterday, Friday, 5/23 afternoon, we continued our visitations
in San Borja. We divided into 3 groups. After the visitation,
we had a take out meal at brother Yu's house along with some
local believers. We had a good fellowship time.
Today, Sat 5/24, we conducted the worship service in Los Olivios
in the morning. After the service, Pastor Chang took us to the
Gospel Center in Chinatown.
At 4pm, the whole team led a youth fellowship in brother Zhu's
house. The 3 brother from our team played skit: Lost and
Found. The youths re-play the skit after us. They had done a
good job. We are being invited to stay to have dinner with the
Zhu's family. Pastor and Mrs. Chang and other local
believers
will joint us.
Please pray for us for the 2 worship services we are going to
lead tomorrow. Brother Cheung is going to preach in the morning
in Lima CAC, and Christina is going to preach in San Borja
Alliance Church. And our safe trip home.
We will try to send some pictures home tonight. Pictures are in
my computer now.
Thank you for your prayer and support.

team: |

Dear Brother
David,
We just bid good bye to the five brothers and sisters from LIAC
at their hotel. They are on their way to the airport. It was an
intense week filled with ministries in various ministry points
in Lima. By the grace and protection of the LORD, the team
members did everything that the scheduled plan demanded and
beyond.
I simply want to express my personal appreciation to you and the
LIAC entire congregation who have been fully behind this STM
effort in supporting the needs here in Lima. May the LORD richly
reward each of the STM team members/families and the LIAC!
In Him,
Pastor Michael
